Founded in 1926, NAEYC is the world’s largest organization working on behalf of young children with nearly 100,000 members, a national network of over 300 local, state, and regional affiliates, and a growing global alliance of like-minded organizations.

AEYC members work in a variety of ECE settings including but not limited to child care centers, preschools, public schools, private homes, before and after school programs, community agencies, licensing and regulation, and resource and referral. Together, we support excellence, inclusion, innovation, and community in the field of early childhood education.
The Nevada Association for the Education of Young Children (NevAEYC) serves as the state affiliate for NAEYC. Nevada has two local Chapters: Reno & Southern Nevada. Currently, NevAEYC has over 600 members!

NevAEYC is Nevada’s affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), dedicated to advancing high-quality early learning for all young children. We bring together early childhood professionals, educators, advocates, and community partners who are committed to supporting children from birth through age eight. Through professional development, advocacy, and collaboration, NevAEYC works to strengthen the early childhood workforce and promote policies that benefit children, families, and educators across the state.
Our core values are defined in the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct and are deeply rooted in the early childhood profession. In addition, we seek to be a high–performing, inclusive organization that is enriched by and continually grows from our commitment to diversity, as embodied by our core beliefs.

NevAEYC promotes high-quality early learning for all children, birth through age 8, by connecting practice, policy, adn research. We advance a diverse, dynamic early childhood profession and support all who care for, educate, and work on behalf of young children.
Our members are at the heart of everything we do. NevAEYC is made up of a diverse network of early childhood educators, program directors, administrators, students, and advocates who share a passion for high-quality early learning. Members gain access to valuable resources, professional development opportunities, and a supportive community that encourages growth, connection, and leadership within the field of early childhood education.
